About me.

I’m a design leader specializing in helping web designers, graphic designers, and UX professionals grow into impactful, well-rounded practitioners — and ultimately, the kind of leaders our industry needs more of.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve built a career that spans user experience, web design and development, digital strategy, and design leadership. I’ve held titles like Director of Digital Experience, VP of Experience Optimization, and Front-End Development Supervisor — but more important than the titles are the experiences behind them: leading teams, scaling departments, delivering high-impact work, and mentoring designers through each stage of their growth.

The most rewarding aspect of my career has been mentoring and supporting talented designers as they pursue professional growth. You can read some of their experiences in my Testimonials — their words mean more to me than any title ever could. You can find more details of my career on LinkedIn or more visual inspiration on Instagram.

My mission is to elevate design as a business-critical discipline by blending user-centered thinking with strategic execution, guiding teams toward solutions that drive real-world impact. I believe leadership is a creative act — one that involves solving complex problems, mentoring talent, and shaping environments where individuals thrive and bold ideas can take root.

I’m driven by the challenge of turning vision into reality, bridging the gap between business goals and user needs, and cultivating a mindset of curiosity and constant improvement — not just for myself, but for the designers I support.

If you’re interested in learning more about how I got here (it wasn’t exactly a straight line), I share the full story in this three-part article about my own career journey.
